The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, dir. David Fincher
Firstly: intro. amazing. it wouldn’t be complete without the astonishing cover of ‘Immigrant Song’. Secondly: it wasn’t better or worse than the Swedish original, both version are excellent in their own right. Few changes, little bit more polished, more gentle, as if American audiences couldn’t be exposed to cruelty and agression. Very entertaining almost 3hrs, especially when you know original movies and books. 9/10
